Backstory:
I wrote the original version of this song way back in '78. It was about 11 minutes long and sounded like freeform experimental jazz. But I liked the idea of the lyrics, so i decided to redo it in 2019. The original lyrics are flesh out the song better, but I felt like they were just tooooo depressing to include on this already depressing album. So I just left in the uplifting part of them..
